I had spent hardly any time trying to train her. I played her a training record (yes, a record) once right after we got her, and I whistle to her sometimes.
Recently, I had thought I was hearing her whistling, but I wasn't sure until yesterday. She must have spent fifteen minutes whistling.
It was very cute. I wish I had a video of her doing it, but I never have my camera around when I need it.
That must sound so cute! Birds can be taught a lot of things...our blue jay calls for peanuts and she or he won't stop until we go out with peanuts...then the jay is quiet when she/he sees us.
