Get A Dog Breed that is Good for You!

On Dogchannel.com, a website that normally has great articles on it, I was shocked to find an article entitled "Date Worthy Dogs". The article listed breeds that might make woman more attractive to men and vice versa. 

I couldn't believe that the same site that encourages you to find a good breed had an article that said "So whether you are looking for puppy love or true love, you might want to get one of these breeds..." So you should just go out and get a certain breed of dog, just to impress your date? That's crazy!

For example, the article suggested that a woman get a Poodle. Poodles are the hardest dogs to keep because of all the grooming that you need. So if someone who doesn't have time to spend hours grooming a Poodle, they just shouldn't get one for any reason. Perhaps in a case like that, a Bulldog (a dog that the article stated turned men away) would be better. 

You have to get a dog breed that will work for you. If the dog won't work for you, don't get it. As I was saying, don't get a Poodle if you don't have time to groom one, no matter how much you like their looks. Don't get a Lab if you don't have time to exercise it enough, even if you can find one for free.

Getting the right dog breed is very important in making your venture in to dog keeping successful!
