Cheats and tips for Nintendogs

Here are some fun cheats and tips for Nintendogs.

• Get TP (trainer points) fast: This is a very easy cheat: Groom the dog until it is 'Beautiful'. Then pet the brush (wire or rubber, depending on the coat length) on the dog, plug in the DS and just leave it alone. Don't close the DS lid. You get 1, 2, or 3 points per minute.
• Do more contests and learn more tricks in a day: Do three contests then save and turn off the DS. Set the DS time to 23:59, wait one minute until the clock says 00:00, then turn off the DS and start the game up again.
• Get lots of items on walks: click on the 'walk' button and select a dog. Then look at where the '?' boxes are. There are a few arrangements with lots of '?'s. If you don't see enough, just go back and try again. It takes a little longer, but it's worth it.
• Confused dog: If your dog is confusing a certain trick with another trick, make it un-learn one of the tricks and name it something else. For example, I was having a problem with dogs doing the 'shake' trick instead of 'sit'. I un-learned 'sit' and said 'yo' instead. The dogs stopped doing to wrong trick.
• Unlimited walks: Walk to the park and go to as many '?'s on the way to the park as you can. At the park, change accessories. The game will save as you do so, and you can restart the DS. You still have the items you got, but you can go for another walk.
• If you are losing a contest: Save the game before entering a contest. If you know that you will just lose, restart the DS and try again.
