Pets Aren't People

A young woman was just about to be married when something more important came up: her pet Bearded Dragon was seriously ill. The woman and her fiance postponed the wedding and spent nearly
$5000 on the lizard.

A family was already in debt, but they refused to stop paying for their elderly dog's cancer treatment.

Many, many people spend about $240- $550 dollars per month ($2880-$6600 per year) for "Doggy Day Care".

An old lady leaves over a million dollars for the care of her pets after her death.

Perhaps the craziest story of is a cat loving couple that bought a house- just for nearly 240 cats! They spent about $1000 dollars per week to pay for the house and cat costs- including up to four large bags of cat food a day. No surprising, they couple share their other house with 11 more cats.

Read this carefully, animal lovers, this may shock you: PETS ARE NOT PEOPLE!
