Dollar Store Dog Supplies

You can save a lots amount of money by buying dog supplies at a dollar store. Here, I compare two stores: A huge pet store chain (Petsmart) and a dollar store (Dollar Tree.)

Petsmart
Note: I didn't purposely pick the most expensive items!

Brush: $4
Comb: $10
Two different chew toys: $14
Rope toy: $10
Food and water dishes: $10
Collar: $10
Leash: $8
Bags (100): $12
Shampoo: $11
Total: $89

Dollar Tree

Brush: $1
Comb: $1
Two different chew toys: $2
Rope toy: $1
Food and water dishes: $2
Collar: $1
Leash: $1
Bags (100): $2
Shampoo: $1
Total: $12

You could save $77 by buying these items at Dollar Tree instead of Petsmart!

I do not recommend buying dog food, wet or dry, at a dollar store. It is probably the worst food you could feed you dog, and compared to bulk dog food, its really not all that great of a deal.
