Chameleons

Any reptile lover has thought it would be fun to keep a chameleon. But are they really good pets?

Pro's

• Chameleons are very cool looking.
• They change color!
• They can survive a wide range of temperatures.

Con's

• They need a large screen cage, which can be expensive.
• Chameleons need their cage sprayed a lot, to maintain humidity.
• They are not good pet. for frequent handling.

Chameleons really aren't for the beginner reptile keeper and they require a lot of time to keep. But if you can provide for their needs, chameleons are very interesting pets.

This is a Veiled Chameleon, the cheapest and most common chameleon species.
