American Eskimo Dog

The American Eskimo Dog looks like a small, pure white Husky. It comes in three sizes: Toy, Miniature, and Standard.

This adorable dog makes a great watchdog, but it is not at all aggressive. They are also intelligent.

They, like any long-haired dog, need plenty of grooming. They also may need baths rather often because of their white coat.

"Eskies" as they are sometimes called, are great dogs, but they are not right for every one. They shed a lot and need daily brushing. A standard Eskimo Dog might be able to live outside, but toys or miniatures should live indoors.

American Eskimo Dogs are very energetic (especially puppies) and need lots of exercise.

For an owner that will give them the grooming and exercise that they need, An American Eskimo can be a great pet!
